By Train

Regular trains run to Southampton Central train station from London Waterloo, The North via Reading and local south coast stations.


By Car

A33 from the M3 (from the north)

  • Follow signs down the Avenue to Southampton docks
  • At the roundabout with a hotel in the middle, take the 2nd exit
  • At the next traffic lights, turn right on to Kingsway/St Mary’s Place
  • Continue, then follow the one way system in the right lane, don’t take the left hand turning to go over the bridge
  • Continue straight over the next set of traffic lights
  • Turn left at the next junction and follow the road over the train line
  • Turn right at the next traffic lights – the turning before the main entrance to Ocean Village
  • Follow the road for about 150 yards to the white car park on the right – this is available for use by centre visitors
  • The centre is located on the left hand side just after the car park or to the right when exiting the car park.

A334 / A3024 from the M27 (from the east)

  • From the M27 westbound, take junction 7, signposted to Southampton and Bittern, follow the A334, which turns in to the A3024.
  • Continue over the bridge over the Solent
  • At the main junction with traffic lights, turn left on to Kingsway/St Mary’s Place
  • Continue, then follow the one way system in the right lane, don’t take the left hand turning to go over the bridge
  • Continue straight over the next set of traffic lights
  • Turn left at the next junction and follow the road over the train line
  • Turn right at the next traffic lights – the turning before the main entrance to Ocean Village
  • Follow the road for about 150 yards to the white car park on the right – this is available for use by centre visitors
  • The centre is located on the left hand side just after the car park or to the right when exiting the car park.

A3024 from the M271 (from the west)

  • From the M27 eastbound, take the M271 to Southampton
  • Take the first exit signposted to the city centre and West Quay
  • Continue along the A3024
  • After about a mile, get in to the right lane and follow signs for West Quay and the A33
  • Continue past West Quay shopping centre and IKEA
  • After the De Vere Hotel, go straight over the mini roundabout and keep going
  • Enter the one way system and go round the ‘oval-about’ – take the exit for Ocean Village
  • Follow the road over the train line and turn right at the next traffic lights – the turning before the main entrance to Ocean Village
  • Follow the road for about 150 yards to the white car park on the right – this is available for use by centre visitors
  • The centre is located on the left hand side just after the car park or to the right when exiting the car park.
